Nopalera

Founder, Sandra Velasquez, was raised by Mexican Immigrant parents in California at the US/ Mexico border. She founded Nopalera to elevate and celebrate the beauty and richness of the Mexican Culture. The inspiration and name comes from the Nopal Cactus, an ancient symbol of the Mexican culture. It is one of the world's most sustainable, nourishing and resilient crops, which can be used to make textiles, hydrate the hair and skin, and also eaten.  All of Nopalera's products are made with plant butters and oils. Other ingredients adhere to formulation guidelines set forth by clean beauty retailers.
